Analysis of website audience, usability and SEO-related factors

A good throughout analysis is fundamental for any further steps and therefore is the cornerstone for our work. Of course, it is mainly about numbers, percents and graphs, but only a correct interpretations give a meaning to them.

Well presented outputs from the analysis help you get ideas, on how to improve your online business. Get to know your visitors, where they come from, what they are looking for, how they use your website.

 

Initial analysis:
The "Initial analysis" contains everything necessary, to prepare a quality SEO project. It is a part of all our SEO solutions, but can also be provided separately. It gives us the idea about who visits your website, where do the users come from, what are they looking for. Together with a proper keyword analysis, we discover which keywords doesn't the website score for.

Example:
If an Internet user searching for "website", is interesting to you, you are likely to optimize your site for that it scores well on search engines for that word. What you might have missed is, that there is a large number of people searching for "web site", which is a misspelling, but people searching for it are of same value to you. Hence it becomes another keyword/phrase to optimize for.)
This way we detect new sources of traffic and find out ways to improve the existing ones. You may see what is included in this analysis in the list on the right.

In case there are any other parameters required to be studied for a specific SEO project, these are included free of charge.

The initial analysis is later used to compare the pre-SEO and post-SEO states of the site.

Website usability
The Initial analysis described above is focused on what types of people come to your site and how they get there. As the Initial analysis provides you with information on what traffic you receive and where you miss out, it does not cover the behavior of people on the site.

What is website usability?

Every website has to be designed in mind with visitors using it. Menus, links and other navigation elements are used, to allow the user easily find his way to the content he is looking for. However, it is hard to tell whether the way you would enjoy surfing through a website is as pleasurable for others. Or at least satisfying to the extent, where they don't leave the website in confusion and look elsewhere for what they didn't find on your site, just because they had trouble finding their way around.

We take out the guesswork and replace it with facts. The website usability analysis tells you in detail, how users interact with your website. By studying the behavior of people who have already visited your site, we may tell what parts they have found attractive (a lot of time spent on them), and which pages made them leave or click elsewhere quickly. Distinct groups and their behavior patterns emerge. Depending on where they came from, and what they were looking for, paths through the site will differ. It is not unusual to discover, what new products or services your customers look for.
