Today, we are running two websites, which we use to exercise theory in
the real world and let our clients get a better picture about the services
we offer.
A tool for webmasters who wish to get more traffic on their site. The service it delivers, allows communication between webmasters who wish to trade links - an important part of SEO.
Two ways of use:
a) placing a lisiting about own site.
Information posted is available to other visitors, who are able to leave
a message for the the author of the listing. The author is notified about
this message using e-mail.
b) searching through hundreds of listings.
A link exchange request can be sent to author of each listing.
The service is suitable for everyone, whether you wish to exchange links, buy or sell them. The service is free, so there are no usual third-party fees.
Safety first. Not everyone wishes to have their e-mail or detailed website info posted online. To use this service, it is not necessary to display the URL or contact information.
Clarity. All vital information can be included to all listings. This allows effective filtering by several criteria. This increases the probability of a positive reaction to a link request.

Help with SEO. When entering a product file, a webpage is created. This page is highly optimized for that specific product. A link from that page increases relavancy and link popularity of a specified website (usually, the producers own website).

on Google then producers own website. This is achieved by the site structure
and the way pages are generated.
Alternative point of sale. Visitors of the site buy the listed products. We sell some of them as affiliates. Through this website, which has not been modified or supported since its creation in summer of 2004, we have had several orders, which fully cover the running costs.
Entering a new product into discount-software is done through a web interface, where all the necessary information about the product is entered. An XML based interface is also available. From a harddrive or an Internet location, a software description file - ASP (Association of Software Providers) compatible, can be uploaded.
Discount-software.cz also represents our "SEO Frontline" solution. It allows generating highly optimized product pages in real time, based on information from an MS SQL database. Apart from typical SEO, Frontline allows optimization for an unlimited number of keywords. In this case, the website consists of 5 static pages. The rest is generated on-the-fly.
